The Hunstanton Sailing Club are our hosts for Lifestyles Festival.

For 2013, the club house is undergoing a major structural renovation.

Planning has been approved and the regeneration is due to begin in early spring 2013, the well deserved rebuild will secure the future of all water sports in Hunstanton and ensure everyone has the opportunity to learn a fun new sport. Read more about the regeneration here

Established in 1949, the Hunstanton Sailing Club is made up of Kitesurfers, Windsurfers and Sailors. The club is essential to Lifestyles, not only by providing us with a great central hub during the festival, but their fantastic team and members also help us to organise the many water sport workshops that take place.

The rest of the time (when the festival isn’t in town) the club offers beach-side parking facilities and the use of showers for members, a licensed bar and many social events throughout the season. It  has many family members and throughout the Summer there are Family Club Nights every Wednesday which see all watersports being tried.

Boasting good links with the local Kitesurf schools, the HSC is proud to support its members who take part in the British Freestyle Kitesurfing UK tour; Danielle and Chloe Durrant, Jack Ridel, Alex Barnes and Poppy Hawkins, all of whom came in the top 10 of their categories in 2012. In the BKSA Professional Ladies Freestyle Championship Danielle Durrant took 3rd while sister Chloe was on top in the Amateur Freestyle Championship!
